DISK/FILE FORMAT:

Work submitted for publication on Lady M's Mystery International must be submitted on 3½" PC floppy disk as PCWord, PCWordPerfect, RTF or TXT files. Sorry, we cannot accept Mac floppies or files from Mac Word, Mac WordPerfect, Claris or Apple works.

MANUSCRIPT FORMAT:

All work must be proofread by the author and ready for publication. No editing will be done or allowed once the work is on line. Manuscripts should be in standard format, with one-inch margins all around and should include a title page, with author's name or pseudonym and the copyright notice and year. As a separate file, the author may include the titles of other works as author promotion. Lady M reserves the right to limit the number of any such listings.

REPRINTS:

The author must sign a permission slip stating the original publication date and source and an affidavit that the author owns the electronic rights and grants them to Mysteryinternational.com for a period of one year.

ORIGINAL MATERIAL:

The author must sign a permission slip that guarantees the work is original and granting Mysteryinternational.com electronic rights for a period of one year. The author retains all print and other media rights unless otherwise negotiated.

PAYMENT:

Short stories: A flat fee payment of $10 (ten dollars) is paid on acceptance for publication for both reprints or original material. A story will be featured on the site for one month, then available in the archives for the remainder of the terms of contract. Books: Royalties are paid every three months on collected funds based on the number of hits or downloads of the book from the site or archives.
