Mystery International

The night was dark – the clouds were surrounding the city like an ominous fog, drenching the streets with heavy black rain thick as tar. A man in a trench coat stayed close to the building’s shadows to keep his face easily hidden. His eyes wondered down the street, past the man in a blue uniform carrying his baton in one hand underneath the plastic poncho that kept him mostly dry.
